Vignes la Madrague was awarded Best Rosé in the World at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles in 2021 en 2022. Our vineyards are located just 20 meters from the sea near Saint-Tropez. This prime location guarantees grapes of excellent quality. We create freshness and fruitiness in all our wines using modern techniques.
Our vineyards are located 20m from the sea. The cool Mediterranean Sea breeze helps to give our wines an exceptional depth and a lovely mineral character.
For ultimate freshness, the grapes are harvested at night and oxygen contact with the wine is minimized.

During the daytime, our vineyards quickly warm up.
The hot air rises, and that place is automatically taken over by cool air from the sea.
A refreshing sea breeze blows through the vineyards during the day.
In the evening, the vineyards cool down faster than the sea.
This causes the warm air above the sea to rise.
A cooling country breeze blows through the vineyards at night.
This helps to create refreshing wines.
In 2007 Jean-Marie Zodo bought Domaine de la Madrague and its 20-hectare vineyard.
Right from the start, the focus has been on organic viticulture.
Nowadays, the domain covers 40 hectares.
Besides the Best Rosé in the World, Domaine de la Madrague produces other wines, including some whites and reds.
Only the best fruit is used for the production of the organic Côtes de Provence Rosé: Vignes la Madragues.
The vineyards are in the region Golfe de Saint-Tropez, where the sun, the wind and the sea give you that southern French feeling of relaxation.
