It began between Marc Brunting and Cedric Ragues. Growing up in wine families, they both followed in their father’s footsteps to the world of wine, Cedric as a winemaker, Marc a vintner. Together they share one goal - to bring the most friendly premium wines from Languedoc to the wine world.
Founded by Cedric’s father in 1978, Domaine des Lauzes is located in the Coteaux d'Ensérune (Languedoc), only five kilometers away from the Mediterranea Sea. This area is classified as the NATURA 2000 zone “protected nature”, and due to its climate, it is known to develop deep, expressive and full-bodied wines.
The unique plots of land with parcels over 80-year-old vines are positioned as the great growths of the South of France. The wine estate has 42 hectares of vineyard on its own, and 291 hectares additionally with contracted partners.
At Domain des Lauzes, the best of each grape variety is carefully selected with respect and great passion. We harvest Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet and Chardonnay. Not to forget the traditional Languedoc varieties, Carignan, Marsanne and Grenache produced in three colors.
Marc and Cedric launched the M&C range under their name. The philosophy is quite simple: only the best of each grape variety.
These wines represent the diversity of terroirs within the same appellation, as well as the essence of Languedoc. We combined ‘Old World’ techniques with ‘New World’ style. The red wines are bottled with black fruit flavour and silky tannins, while the Rosé offer freshness and notes of redcurrant. The white wines have fruit aromas and hints of vanilla.
This selection of Top Quality 'Biodynamic' Wines embody viticulture in harmony with nature. It is the best way to reveal the typicity of a terroir. Each wine from our BIO range bursts with the natural aroma from the sun-drenched grapes.
Our PASSION wine selection is the result of exceptional winemaking skills at every step of the process, from vine to glass. Made from vines over 80-yearold.
